The On-Demand video platform is part of a private network of streaming services. The service has over 1 million monthly visitors.
The redesign of the On-Demand Video Service was done based on Member Surveys and User Behaviour Patterns. The site was optimized for desktop computer and tablets. A separate mobile version was created that replicated all the functionalities of the desktop site, but had a optimized user experience for mobile users. Early mockups and user feedback indicated that a responsive site was not the ideal solution for this project.
Wireframe
The fully functional wireframe was built for user testing on iPad and Desktop. Because of the older demographic of the users, the new user experience was focused on enhancing the current features, and in time adding new ones.
There were 2 wireframes produced:
- one for the desktop version
- one for mobile version
The new User Interface design incorporated the visual legacy of the brand with a flat modernized feel.
