What is Process Consultation?

Process Consultation enables a relationship between the consultant and the client that helps the client perceive, understand, and act on current organizational challenges. Ultimately, this allows the client to discern the current organizational problems and creates, in the organization, the internal capacity for change and renewal.

Phases

Explore, with the client, the context and how I can help them and their team.
Get to know you and your team
Explore & Define focus of work
Receive ethics approval*
Sign letter of agreement
Design and outline the strategic approach for the project.
Collect data: interviews, surveys, observations, group activity, workshops, focus groups, etc
Design practical next steps to support sustainable change using the insights gathered. Plan the upcoming activities.
Work with the group and the client to enable the team to look at the insight from the data and plan the necessary structure and next steps to support sustainable change.
Document the findings and next steps to help as a reference for the change.
Share & implement intervention and action steps with group and stakeholders.
Feedback session between the student consultant and the client.
